Academic Regulations & Campus Guidelines

Ilahia Law College maintains high standards of academic excellence and campus discipline. Below are the key regulations all students must follow.

Academic Regulations

Attendance
  • Regular attendance is mandatory for all students. Students are expected to attend at least 75% of the total classes held in each semester.
  • Medical leave requires documentation
Examination
  • The college follows a comprehensive examination system, including semester exams conducted by MG University and internal assessments. The examination structure is as follows:

Semester Exams
  • The college follows a semester system, with 5-year programs having 10 semesters and 3-year programs having 6 semesters. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months by MG University.

Internal Assessment
  • In each semester, internal assessments are conducted by the teaching faculty, consisting of two internal examinations (best of one will be considered), one presentation, and one assignment submission. Students must fill out examination forms within the specified deadline. Examination timetables will be announced separately.
Academic Integrity
  • Plagiarism and academic dishonesty will not be tolerated. Students found guilty will face penalties.

Campus Discipline

College Hours
  • 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The principal, under the management's authority, may make slight adjustments to the timing schedule as needed.

Punctuality
  • Students are expected to be punctual for classes and other college events.
Uniform Dress code
Boys
  • Black pants, white shirt, and college emblem/badge.
Girls
  • Black pants, white shirt, black blazer, and college emblem/badge.

Code of Conduct
  • Students are expected to maintain decorum and respect towards faculty, staff, and fellow students.

Other Regulations

  • Library Rules

    Students are expected to follow library rules, including borrowing policies and return deadlines.

  • Moot Court

    Participation in moot court activities is encouraged to enhance practical legal skills.

  • Extracurricular Activities

    Students are encouraged to participate in sports, cultural events, and other extracurricular activities to develop their skills and interests.

  • Anti-Ragging

    Ragging is strictly prohibited, and students found guilty will face penalties.

  • Prevention of Sexual Harassment

    The college has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment, and students are encouraged to report incidents.

General Guidelines

Communication

Students are expected to regularly check college notices and updates.

Feedback

Students are encouraged to provide feedback on courses, faculty, and college facilities.

Grievance Redressal

Students can approach the grievance redressal committee for addressing any concerns or issues.


Fee Payment

Completion of semester fees is mandatory for promotion to the next semester.


Final Authority

The Principal's decision is final in all matters related to the college's rules and regulations. The Principal reserves the right to make changes to the rules and regulations as deemed necessary, considering the best interests of the college and its students.
